Commencement time is coming!
Attention graduating students: the deadline to submit your Application to Graduate has been EXTENDED to Friday, May 5th. At that link, you will find information for students applying for transfer degrees and professional/technical degrees or certificates, as well as a link to apply. If you’ve already applied for Spring graduation (either through online form or PDF), you do not need to apply again.
Not sure if you’re eligible to graduate? Get in touch with an academic advisor! The Advising Center offers appointments via phone, Zoom, or in-person – call (206) 546-4559, sign up through Starfish, e-mail advising@shoreline.edu or stop by FOSS 5229. International students can contact academic advisors at ieadvisors@shoreline.edu, join Zoom Drop-ins, or stop by PUB 9302.
If you have any questions about graduation or completing your degree, please send an e-mail to sccgrad@shoreline.edu.
Once you have submitted your graduation application, don’t forget to sign up to participate in Shoreline Commencement, which will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023. There will be two ceremonies, one at 10am and another at 2pm. Students will be assigned to the morning or afternoon ceremonies based on their degree/program. For more information about the ceremonies and to sign up to participate, go to the Commencement website. The deadline to sign up to participate in Commencement is Tuesday, May 16th. If you have any questions about Commencement, please send an e-mail to commencement@shoreline.edu.

Join us for Mindfulness Mondays this spring quarter for various activities, such as chair yoga, meditation, and journaling. We are student-led through the Multicultural Center, holding space for BIPOC students, but open to all!

Tutoring Services Closed 2:00 – 3:00pm Wednesday, 4/26
The Student Learning Center (including the Writing Studio and the Math and Sciences Learning Center) will be closed today, Wednesday 26 April, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm for employee development.
All centers will reopen at 3:00 pm and resume regular hours.

All current students are invited to meet the candidates for next year’s ASG President at an open forum on Tuesday, May 2 at 2:30pm in PUB 9208. Come learn about them and hear their vision for your student government next year. Candidates responses to pre-set questions will be followed by an open Q&A portion. Free refreshments will be provided.
Voting will take place from Tuesday, May 2 through Friday, May 12.

Nominate Student Leaders- Deadline May 3rd!This year Student Life will be hosting the Student Leadership Awards on May 25th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the PUB Main Dining Room.
This will be an opportunity for us to celebrate the end of the year and recognize the outstanding work of individuals, clubs, and programs.
The nomination form for this year’s awards is now live and all nominations are due on Wednesday May 3rd.
Please note that while we have multiple awards focused on recognizing clubs and their leaders, this year’s awards will also include opportunities to recognize programs/other groups and students who have participated in any kinds of leadership, advocacy, and/or community service activities (on or off-campus). Anyone is welcome to submit nominations and there’s no limit to how many people or groups you can nominate.
