IT’S HAPPENING! May 21st, 2022!
We are thrilled to invite you, your friends, and family to our first in-person open house in over 2 years! As a current student at Shoreline, you can take this opportunity to share Shoreline with your friends, co-workers, and family!
Stop by anytime during this four-hour event to explore our campus, ask questions, and share all that our school has to offer.
You and your guests can:
- Speak with staff, faculty, and current students about the Shoreline experience.
- Take a guided tour to see the entire campus environment firsthand.
- Learn about the resources and support services available to help students succeed.
- Get help with how to start college (admissions process) and paying for college
Not to mention food trucks, live music, visual arts, theater performers and a raffle for some sweet Shoreline swag!

Dear Colleagues and Students,
As you may be aware, in the past few days some of our neighboring colleges have received threatening emails. We have NOT received any of these types of emails and NO ACTIVE THREAT to Shoreline has been received.
If we receive any type of threat, campus security will work with all relevant law enforcement partners to assess the threat and take the necessary actions to protect our campus community.
The campus community will be notified accordingly if a threat emerges. Local and federal law enforcement agencies are aware of these threats, and the investigation is ongoing.
If you receive a threatening email or see something suspicious on campus, please alert Safety & Security immediately by calling 206-235-5860.

Dear Students,
The College is aware that some students are having issues with making tuition payments. Due to Shoreline’s recent transition to ctcLink, we have delayed the Drop for Non-Payment process and the new Drop for Non-Payment date will be May 11th, 2022.
- If you have not yet paid your tuition, please review the following information for next steps. We strongly encourage you to pay online with ctcLink. You can also register for a payment plan with Nelnet.
- If you fall into any of the following categories, you will not be dropped if you have been approved for pending funds and/or a tuition waiver has been approved. Please contact your Advisor if you have any specific questions.

Athletes, Foster, Housing, or Veterans
Running Start
CECO (CEO/LCN)
International
- If the online system does not work, please reach out to us for assistance. The Business Office is open Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 4:30pm PDT in FOSS 5000. You can also contact them at 206-546-7850 or get support online.
Additionally, the College will continue to offer federal COVID-19 funds and other emergency aid funds to students who are experiencing emergencies or need assistance to pay tuition and fees. Please contact Shoreline Financial Aid at 206-705-8722 or emergencyaid@shoreline.edu to learn more about these opportunities.

Are you considering dropping a class?
You can drop classes after the quarter starts, however, you will need to get instructor permission and you will be charged a $15 add/drop fee. Dropping will result in a “W” showing on your transcript for withdrawal, and it will not count in computing your GPA.
The last day to drop a course this quarter with a “W” is May 17, 2022. After this date, no “W” will be given.
Please check with Financial Aid before deciding to drop a course as your aid may be impacted.
If you are utilizing GI Bill benefits, please be sure to check in with the Veteran & Military Student Services Office before dropping any classes.
To withdraw from a class, follow these steps:
- Email your instructor from your email address on file requesting permission to withdraw.
- When you receive a reply granting permission, forward that response to enrollmentservices@shoreline.edu
- When you forward that message make sure you include:
- Your ctcLink ID number
- The name & item number of the course
- A statement asking to be withdrawn from that class
