S^3 Shoreline Students Speak: Call for submissions

The Public Speaking Leadership Club is putting out an open call for talented student voices to showcase in our last event of the year: *Audience of One* – Mentor Appreciation event: June 6 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

This event will feature “mentor appreciation” presentations … a chance for students to write and present a “letter” (or art piece or poetry or anything you can think of) that honors someone at Shoreline who positively affected their academic career – this could be an instructor, administrator, tutor, employee, another student, etc. Each presenter will have about 5 minutes (if you might need more, let us know and we’ll try to work it out).

We are looking for:
•  Public speaking presentations
•  Reading poetry
•  Original writing
•  Q&A sessions
•  Panel presentations
•  Art/photography presentations
•  Anything else you can think of?

If you would like to know more about presenting, we will have a table in the PUB near the information desk Wed., May 24, Thur., May 25, Wed., May 31, and Thur., Jun 1 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. each day.
