Welcome Week activities for Sept. 23 are:

Flu Shots, PUB Room 9201, 9 a.m. – noon The Seattle Visiting Nurse Association will be conducting a flu shot clinic here at Shoreline Community College on Wed., September 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in Room 9201. Your insurance can be billed for this immunization or you can pay cash the day of the clinic.

Food Trucks in the PUB Courtyard, 12:30 p.m. Come get gourmet street food for FREE. Yum!

Green is the New Black Sustainability Workshop, PUB Quiet Dining Room, 1:30 p.m. 

During this session students and staff will have an opportunity to learn more about sustainability: what it is, how to become a part of the solution, and how we are moving toward sustainability on campus.

“Limited Edition” water bottles (pictured) will be available. Please bring in your old, unloved water bottles for recycling. #GREENistheNewBlack

Campus Involvement, PUB Quiet Dining Room, 2:30 p.m.

SCC has over 50 student organizations! Ranging from cultural and art to academic and athletic, our student organizations actively create a vibrant campus through events and activities. Learn how you can get involved, create your own organization and also volunteer.

Student Orientations to Canvas and eLearning, Room 1302, 2:30 p.m.

Get acquainted with Canvas. It’s where you go to access any online course content. In this orientation, we will cover the basics (how to log on, find your courses, etc.), as well as how to turn in assignments, post to discussions and more! Feel free to bring any questions you have.
