2025 Call for Submissions: Student Juried Art Exhibition- Submissions Due 2/1

The Shoreline Art Gallery is excited to announce the 2025 Student Juried Art Exhibition and art awards event!

The gallery’s goal is to grow as a point of community and gathering place for the school and the greater Shoreline neighborhood. This is an excellent opportunity for students across Shoreline Community College to showcase their artistic talent and build recognition of their artist achievements! And… PRIZES!

All students, regardless of their course of study or discipline, are encouraged to enter. Submissions will be reviewed by the gallery staff and feedback given based on availability of space and the submissions’ readiness for showing:

Physical works (i.e. sculptures, paintings, drawings, prints, photographs) and digital works (i.e. animation, video, digital illustrations, etc.) are all welcome!

Works selected for exhibition must be mounted or framed and ready for display. Flat artwork should be ready for wall hanging to qualify for exhibition.

Prizes will be awarded!

Submission Guidelines

Interested parties should email their submissions to Gallery Director, Zach Mazur (zmazur@shoreline.edu) by February 1, 2025 with the following information:

  • Quality photographs of 3-5 works of art for consideration. 
  • A description about the artwork you are submitting including: Title, Date, Media, Dimensions
  • Method of display (i.e. standing, wall-mounted, digital display, etc.) 
  • A brief artist statement about what the work is about (optional)

Submissions are due by Feb 1, 2025.
