We’d like to share an important update regarding the student email migration project.
Preparations to move student email data from Google to Microsoft are now complete. As part of this transition, Microsoft Outlook licenses will be activated for all students on December 15th.
What does this mean for you?
- Starting December 15th, student email will be accessible through Microsoft Outlook.
- If you currently use an @go.shoreline.edu account, you will continue to have access to both Gmail and Microsoft Outlook until the official go-live date of January 5th, 2026.
- No action is required from you at this time.

- On January 5th, all student accounts will change from student@go.shoreline.edu to student@shoreline.edu.
- Also on January 5th, Multifactor Authentication (MFA) will be enabled for all accounts.
Thank you for your attention to this important update. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a smooth transition.
