Dear student,
Would you be interested in helping Shoreline Community College improve its website?
We’re looking for a few people to participate in a 45-minute website research study April 19-25. Participants selected for the study will receive a $25 gift card to the campus bookstore.
This would be an in-person study taking place on campus.

Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal will hold a Town Hall meeting in the PUB Main Dining Room from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tues., April 18. This is an event that is open to the public, so please be aware that we will have an increased number of visitors to campus on that evening and that parking may become stressed beginning in the late afternoon.
Jayapal will discuss her work in Congress and take questions from constituents.

The U.S. political mood toward trade has gone sour. One need look no further than the 2016 presidential contest for the popular narrative: trade means that China wins, at America’s expense. But do the numbers support that conclusion? The metrics used to gauge economic strength—Gross Domestic Product and balance of trade—have not kept up with the realities of modern manufacturing. Obtaining an accurate picture of U.S. economic stature requires a critique of those numbers. Only then can the U.S. develop appropriate policy solutions for the challenges at hand.
Format:

Enrollment is limited. $35 to register for the series (8 meetings)**

Dear Students and Colleagues,
I sincerely invite all of you to take part in a brief survey organized by the Associated Student Government. In this survey, we are gathering information about two keys topics of interest – views on tobacco and secondhand smoke on campus, and views on potential shuttle bus service extension.
The survey will take about 3 – 5 minutes to complete, and the information you provide will prove essential in keeping Shoreline an excellent place for learning. This survey will be open April 12 – May 1.
