tiffany-mNext  Roundtable, Friday 11/4: Get the Most Out of LinkedIn w/Tiffany McVeety
PUB 9202, 1-2:30 p.m.

Did you know that up to 85% of recruiters and employers go to LinkedIn before looking at any other recruitment tools?

LinkedIn will not only connect you with employers, but also with peer groups and academics. Joining relevant interest groups helps to boost your knowledge, and confidence in applying for positions that will lead you to your dream job.

Please join us on 11/4, with business author and international speaker, Tiffany McVeety, as she outlines profile, photo, summary, and other components of LinkedIn to bring you quickly up to date and up your personal brand. We’ll have her own LinkedIn page projected for a look at organization, photos, and graphics. Lots to cover, so don’t be late!

**No Roundtable on Friday 11/11. The campus is closed for a federal holiday.**

And on 11/18, it’s Roundtable’s own “TED Talk” with the return of Paul Valenti from the Seattle Mayor’s Office!

And as always, Good Luck Out there!

1:00-2:30pm

Bldg 9000, Room 9202

Temporary lighting is coming soon to some of our parking lot locations. The visitor’s lot and all the lights going up the hill to the daycare are impacted by a defective breaker identified by Seattle City Light. Contractors are due to be on site to evaluate on Wednesday.

Temporary lighting powered by generators will be installed in the interim.

Please practice safety by using your cell phone flashlight and walking to your car with another person when possible.

Please contact Facilities at 206-546-4661 if you have further questions.
