Exciting news! Shoreline Community College is now partnering with Handshake to help students discover new career paths and find amazing jobs and internships.

For students, we pre-populated some basic profile information, and you can use your @go.shoreline.edu account to gain instant access.

Staff and faculty are encouraged to create a student profile, to understand what a student sees.

The more you complete your profile, the more customized your search results will be. For now, we encourage you to claim your account, and take the next step in finding your career!

Explore the benefits of Workforce Education – a program offering four funding options to support your educational journey: BFET, Opportunity Grant, WorkFirst, and Worker Retraining. 

What we offer: 

  • Coverage for tuition and fees 
  • Financial aid for books, transportation, and school supplies 
  • Personalized one-on-one support and advising  

Eligibility: 

  • Enrolled in a Professional Technical Program  
  • Or transfer students receiving Basic Food benefits 

Additionally, you must meet one of the following criteria: 

  • Meet low-income standards (e.g., a family of one making less than $2430). Find income guidelines [here]
  • Currently unemployed or under-employed. Check out the qualifying unemployment situations.
  • Receive TANF/Cash Assistance from DSHS – WorkFirst

*Please note that international students are not eligible for funding due to grant guidelines.
