You’ll learn how poisonous chemicals can enter and affect common mechanisms in the body. This is a part of the National Novel Writing Month genre series for fiction writers! Anyone is welcome to come to this online session.

Professor Adria Magrath has been teaching college-level science courses for over a decade in our community. With expertise in anatomy, physiology, human biology, and horticulture, she’s an academic subject specialist with knowledge of how ‘poisons’ affect the human body.

Flu Vaccine Pop-Up Clinic, Thursday, November 4th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm in the PUB (9000 Building), Room 9208 (Quiet Dining Room). Sign up in advance online. Students, family and staff are welcome to attend. Flu shots are free for those with approved insurance, including Apple Health. Masks are required indoors.
COVID-19 vaccination booster shots are available at our on-campus clinic for those who are eligible. The clinic’s scheduled vaccine appointments could become fully booked very soon with kids ages 5-11, so book your appointment soon.
The vaccination pop-up clinics will operate five days a week (Monday to Friday), from 9am to 5pm through December 17. The clinics will be closed on November 11th, 25th, and 26th.
Join us on Saturday, November 13th, to celebrate Green Shoreline Day, our biggest tree planting celebration of the year! We will be planting the future forest of four of Shoreline’s Parks: North City Park, Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, South Twin Ponds, and Paramount Open Space.

Come out to support the women’s volleyball team as they battle Edmonds CC on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7 pm at the Campus Gym. SCC students, faculty, and staff will receive FREE swag and those who wear a Halloween costume will be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift card!
Participants must arrive by 6:55 pm in order to enter the costume contest.
