Join us at this upcoming information session for students on the process of transferring to Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Washington.
Host: Madeline R. Miller, Academic Counselor – Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Undergraduate Programs at the University of Washington.
Learn how to tell your story in transfer and scholarship applications in this hands-on workshop!
We’ll use the UW transfer personal statement prompt as an example, but we encourage you to bring prompts for any schools, scholarships, and/or programs you’re applying to!
No matter which stage of the writing process you are in for your personal statement draft, bring what you have to the workshop! That might look like: ideas, notes, or a rough draft.
Immediately after the workshop, there will be opportunities for you to have one-on-one appointments with our Writing Studio Tutors, who can help you with your ideas and drafts.

Documentary Photography coursework, taught by faculty member Lauren Greathouse at Shoreline Community College, focuses on the culmination of an entire quarter of visual storytelling and service to the community. These Shoreline student artists spent an entire quarter working in collaboration with a non-profit of their choosing within the Seattle area, merging art and agency through the selection of images on display.
Thank you all for sharing! See you at the celebration!
