This weekend, Shoreline Community College is partnering with Shoreline Police, Kenmore Police, and the King County Sheriff’s Office to host a Gift Cards for Guns event on campus. There will be a noticeable presence of law enforcement at the event as well as some areas of campus that will be closed for the duration of the event. Attached is a map that shows the affected areas (which include Building 2000 and all roadways and parking areas west of Bldg. 1500, 1600, 1700, and 1800. Additionally, a detour will be in place for drivers attempting to access the City of Shoreline Off Leash Dog Park and the north side of campus. Rafael Ramírez, a talented Flamenco dancer from Malaga, Spain, has captivated audiences from a young age. Throughout his illustrious career, Rafael’s performances have received recognition, including awards like the “Breakout Artist Award” at the Jerez Festival in 2023 and “El Desplante” at the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas (La Unión) in 2021. His artistry showcases a blend of tradition and innovation, making him a prominent figure in the Flamenco world.
The Honorary Consul of Spain in WA and OR has teamed up with Spain Flamenco Arts, FECACE and Semilla Flamenca to bring an authentic Flamenco experience to Washington.
The enchanting performance, “Lo Preciso,” featuring accomplished dancer Rafael Ramírez, will take place on Sunday 22nd at 3:00 p.m. at the Shoreline Community College Theater.

The College & Career Success course (COL 101) is designed for new, undecided students in their first or second quarter at Shoreline to learn how to:

Research shows that students who take a class like this are more likely to stay in college, complete their degree, and have stronger academic success.
The three-credit course is conveniently offered both online and in-person. The instructors have completed special training to ensure students receive the information they need to make a successful transition to college and beyond. This course also counts as elective credits for those who plan to later transfer to a university.
Whether you are taking Running Start classes, have just graduated high school, or are coming back to school after time away, this course is beneficial for anyone who has not yet chosen a program of study at Shoreline.
