Commencement time is coming!
Attention graduating Spring and Summer students: submit your Application for Degree to Enrollment Services on the second floor of the 5000 (FOSS) building no later than Fri., April 15. Applications for Summer quarter graduating students NOT participating in the June 5 ceremony should be submitted by Fri., July 15.
Also, all planning sheets for professional/technical programs need to be filled out completely, signed by both the program Advisor and Division Dean and submitted with the Application for Degree or Certificate to Enrollment Services.

Will you finish your degree requirements this quarter? Then you’ll want to attend this countdown to graduation and commencement session in the PUB, room 9201 on either Tues., Oct. 6 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. OR Wed., Oct. 7 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Students will learn about:
1. Steps and policies required to receive the degree or certificate
2. Importance of having previous credits evaluated before applying to graduate
3. Different types of graduation applications and deadlines
4. Process to participate in the annual spring commencement (the traditional ceremony recognizing students’ accomplishments)

Congratulations Soon-to-Be Grads!
Join us in celebrating your achievements by participating in the 51st Commencement of Shoreline Community College honoring the Class of 2015 on June 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Main Gymnasium, Building 3000. You should be proud of what you have accomplished, so think about sharing this special event with your family, friends, faculty and other students.
Everything you need to know about starting the process to walk at Commencement on June 7 is included in this link. Caps and gowns will be on sale at the SCC Bookstore in the lower level of the PUB through Tuesday, May 26. All guests are required to have tickets, which also will be distributed through the Bookstore until May 26.

Calling all students graduating this spring/summer – for the first year ever, Shoreline’s commencement ceremony will include a video featuring Shoreline students. This is your chance to be heard, make your mark and turn your memories at Shoreline into a part of the college’s history!
Tuesday, April 14 we invite graduating students to come to the PUB Quiet Dining Room (9208) from 1-4:30 p.m. to get in on being part of the commencement video. It’ll be quick and easy – taking about 15 minutes of your time to answer just a few short questions about your experiences at Shoreline for the camera. Come, sit and spend a few minutes with us then see yourself on the big screen at commencement. Viola!
Come alone, bring a friend, get silly and bring a prop that symbolizes your time here if you want, or whatever else springs to mind – this video is about you! So make this inaugural commencement video one to remember!

Film a quick video of yourself on your phone (or whatever other device you’ve got handy) and tell us a favorite memory of yours about Shoreline, what you’ll miss, what you learned about yourself as a person/student here, what Shoreline has meant to you – or whatever else you want to tell us as you prepare to move on to your next chapter. Students planning on graduating this spring quarter must submit their graduation applications to the Cashier’s office on the main floor of the FOSS (5200) building by no later than Wed., April 15. The deadline to indicate you wish to participate in the June 7 commencement ceremony is also April 15.
Students planning on graduating in summer who wish to participate in the June 7 commencement ceremony must also submit their applications for graduation by April 15. Summer grads who DO NOT want to participate in the graduation ceremony have until August 15 to apply for graduation.
