We are offering a number of FREE Canvas/eLearning Orientation Sessions for Students on campus this Fall. Check out one of the following events to get acquainted with Canvas/the eLearning environment:

Wednesday, September 23, 2:30-3:30pm in Room 1302
Friday, September 25, 9:30-10:30am in Room 1302
Tuesday, September 29, 1:30-2:30pm in Room 1301
Wednesday, September 30, 9:30-10:30am in Room 1304

Canvas will be performing maintenance Thurs., July 16 between 12:01 and 1:00 a.m. During this 60-minute maintenance window, there will be less than five minutes of downtime where you will be unable to access or use Canvas. Please plan your late night studying accordingly!

Free online tutoring for 15 subjects is offered this quarter through August 13. Students can chat with a tutor in real time, submit eQuestions or submit papers to the online writing lab. This service is available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
To access eTutoring, go to www.etutoring.org/ and then click the red “Login” button. In the pull-down menu select “Western eTutoring Consortium,” and then select “Shoreline Community College” and follow the login directions.

New to Canvas? eLearning Services is offering one more face-to-face orientation session for Summer students.
Please join us to learn the basics of using Canvas for online course work. This session will cover everything from how to login to Canvas to submitting assignments and checking your grades.
The final session is Tues., June 23 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Room 1301.

Canvas will be performing maintenance on Mon., June 1 starting at 1:00 AM PT. Students will not be able to access Canvas for up to 2 hours (until 3:00 AM PT). We hope that this maintenance will take less time than estimated; a maintenance page will be displayed to users while Canvas is not accessible.
