The International Transfer Fair will feature over 65 different colleges and universities from around the country! Get ready for your transfer application process – come and meet representatives who can tell you about their campuses, programs, and more. Open to all students, staff, and faculty (although the representatives are generally focused on international admissions, they will also be able to answer some questions for non-international applicants and have been informed that the event is open to the campus community)!

Join us Tues., Feb. 2 in the PUB from 2-4 p.m. for the Winter 2016 International Transfer Fair. University reps will be spread throughout the PUB in the Main Dining Room, Quiet Dining Room, 9201, 9202, and the lobby (see map below).
Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to talk with representatives from universities from Washington State and all over the U.S. (plus a few from Canada)! Representatives from 95 universities will be on campus to answer your questions about transfer requirements, majors, housing, and extracurricular programs at their universities. While the representatives work primarily with international students, domestic students are welcome to attend. Participating universities include Arizona State, Baylor University, Drexel University, Georgia Tech, Seattle University, University of California – Irvine, University of Oregon, University of Washington, WSU, and more. Stop by the International Education Office (9302) for a full list of participating universities!

What is the Global Showcase? Each year, students from around the world introduce and represent the fascinating characteristics of their countries and cultures with energy, passion, and pride. We strongly encourage you to participate in the event and get engaged in the eye opening cultural exchange opportunity.
Whether you’re showcasing your culture or not, come join us for this year’s Annual Global Showcase on March 3, 2016 from 12:30-3 p.m. in the PUB Main Dining Room 9215.

Putting the different parts of a sentence together in a manner that is grammatically correct can be as tricky as piecing together a puzzle. For tips and tricks to improve your ability to identify and use the different parts of a sentence, come join us in the Writing and Learning Studio in Room 1501 this Fri., May 8 from 12:30-1:20 p.m. for our free workshop called Sentence Puzzles.
This workshop is best suited for intermediate and advanced ESL students and others wanting a basic review of English grammar.
