Evaluating outside sources for an essay or research paper can be vexing! How do you know if a source is reliable? This workshop will teach you how to evaluate sources so you can join any scholarly conversation with confidence!

In this free workshop from the Writing and Learning Studio, Room 1501, from12:30-1:30 p.m. we’ll teach you to use a time-proven strategy to read and remember textbook material. Bring your own textbook for practice! (This session is a repeat of the April 15 session.)

You can’t get through college without taking tests, yet no one prepares you for the best way to take them. The Writing and Learning Studio is here to help!
Join us Friday, April 17 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in room 1501 for our FREE workshop “Preparing for and Taking Tests.” This one-hour workshop will teach you how to critically read and answer multiple choice, true-false, matching and sentence-completion questions on tests.
