Nominate Student Leaders- Deadline May 3rd!This year Student Life will be hosting the Student Leadership Awards on May 25th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the PUB Main Dining Room.
This will be an opportunity for us to celebrate the end of the year and recognize the outstanding work of individuals, clubs, and programs.
The nomination form for this year’s awards is now live and all nominations are due on Wednesday May 3rd.
Please note that while we have multiple awards focused on recognizing clubs and their leaders, this year’s awards will also include opportunities to recognize programs/other groups and students who have participated in any kinds of leadership, advocacy, and/or community service activities (on or off-campus). Anyone is welcome to submit nominations and there’s no limit to how many people or groups you can nominate.
IE and Gender Equity Center are collaborating with ICHS on hosting two workshops for all students. The first workshop is coming next Tuesday on campus. Please see the blurb below and the graphic as attached.

Shoreline Community College & Bloodworks Northwest are hosting a campus blood drive on Wednesday, April 26 from 9:30am-3:30pm in the PUB Quiet Dining Room (9208). SCC students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to make an appointment to donate by going to https://tinyurl.com/SCCgiveblood.
The Shoreline Short Short Film Festival aims to support emerging and developing filmmakers in Washington State and encourage appreciation for the art of filmmaking in our community. Approximately 12 films will be selected to participate in the Festival. Those films will be screened at the Shoreline Community College Theater on April 22, 2023.
The best of the best will take home cash prizes and a campy Sasquatch Award!
Each film ranges between 3 – 13 minutes. All films are unrated and may contain some adult content. Viewer discretion advised.

Earth Week Fair, SCC Earth Week Student Activities, Earth Week Trivia, and Electronics Recycling bins.
Instructor and trained fight choreographer Lee Ann Hittenberger will teach the basics of unarmed stage combat to create the illusion of violence through safe repeatable moves. You will film a choreographed fight on final day of class. If you are a theater student this is the class for you – and It’s a great workout!
