The Shoreline Short Short Film Festival aims to support emerging and developing filmmakers in Washington State and encourage appreciation for the art of filmmaking in our community. Approximately 12 films will be selected to participate in the Festival. Those films will be screened at the Shoreline Community College Theater on April 22, 2023.

The best of the best will take home cash prizes and a campy Sasquatch Award!

Each film ranges between 3 – 13 minutes. All films are unrated and may contain some adult content. Viewer discretion advised.

The movie poster has bright rainbow colors and a picture of BigFoot. It advertises a $15 discount at the door.

Instructor and trained fight choreographer Lee Ann Hittenberger will teach the basics of unarmed stage combat to create the illusion of violence through safe repeatable moves. You will film a choreographed fight on final day of class. If you are a theater student this is the class for you – and It’s a great workout!

Tutoring services are now open for spring quarter! You may book an appointment through Starfish here or simply stop by one of the Learning Centers in the Library. Our hours of operation are:

Professor Ke will be returning to the college for Spring Quarter!

She is scheduled to teach the Chinese Language Level 1 class and two workshops. The language classes start April 11th.
