Transfer Planning 101 Workshop, Wed., Oct. 28 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the PUB 9202.

Thinking about transferring to a 4-year university to complete a Bachelor degree? Transfer Planning 101 is an overview of the transfer process with helpful tips and action steps for students preparing to transfer. Come learn about:

• University admission requirements

• When to start planning and important deadlines

• Expectations of universities

• How your Shoreline courses transfer

• How to research possible transfer schools and majors

Whether a student early in the process, just curious, or getting ready to apply, there is something for everyone in this session!

We highly recommend new students check out our online orientation page and sign up for an appointment with an advisor for help getting registered for the right classes to get you to your goals. Can’t commit to an appointment time? Drop-in appointments are offered in the Advising & Counseling Center in room 5229 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. M-Th on a first-come, first-served basis. Fall quarter is right around the corner, so make an appointment (or swing by during drop-in hours) today!

Just a reminder that registration for summer and fall quarters for current students began yesterday and continues throughout the remainder of the quarter. Registration priority dates are based on the number of credits you’ve completed, and are designed to ensure students are able to complete their degrees on time. New students will begin registration Tues., May 19, so register for classes now to ensure your spot. Questions?
