Shoreline Community College has been made aware that financial aid students across the Washington State community and technical college system have received a phone call from someone who identifies themselves only as “Federal Aid”. The caller leads the student to believe that they must provide sensitive information, like their social security number and/or debit card information, before their aid can be processed. These calls are NOT from Shoreline. If you receive a call like this please do not provide any personal information.
Communications from Enrollment and Financial Aid Services at Shoreline Community College are sent directly to students’ go.shoreline.edu email accounts. If we contact you by phone, we will always identify ourselves by name and tell you that we are calling from Shoreline Community College.
