Dear Students,
All students are invited to participate in this year’s ASG Presidential elections. Help choose the student who will represent you and lead your student government in the upcoming year! Voting will run from Tuesday, May 3rd through Friday, May 13th!
Student Life will be hosting an Open Forum on Tuesday, May 3rd at 2pm to give all student an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear about their vision for Shoreline next year. To attend the Open Forum, go to https://bit.ly/ASGPresOpenForum22.
The ASG President provides overall direction and leadership for student government which consists of 9 officers and 4 representatives, including:
- Serving as chair for ASG Board Meetings
- Serving as a liaison and representative voice for all Shoreline students to college faculty, staff, and administration
- Attending campus events and Board of Trustee meetings as a representative of ASG
- Working with the Vice President and Director of Student Life to allocate additional committee responsibilities and projects to ASG members
- Working with the Vice President and Director of Student Life to organize hiring and training for all ASG positions
