Here are the events happening around campus for the week of March 26. 

Mon., March 26

International Student Orientation Program: Various locations around campus
March 26-30

During orientation you will:

  • take Math and English placement tests
  • take a campus tour given by current students
  • receive academic advising and register for classes
  • have seminars about living and studying in the USA
  • meet the entire International Education staff
  • take a tour of Seattle
  • and much more!

Mon., March 26: 2:30-4pm
Need help completing your Financial Aid Application? Come to a FAFSA Workshop. A Financial Aid advisor will be available to help you.

Spring 2018 New Student Orientation: PUB Main Dining Room

We are all so excited to welcome you to be part of our Shoreline Community College family. New Student Orientation is designed to introduce you to what it means to be a student here at Shoreline.

Workforce Funding info session: FOSS 5101
Wed., March 28: 2-4pm
Do you need help paying for school? We can help pay for tuition, fees, books, parking, or Orca bus passes if you are:

  1. Low-income (receiving FOOD STAMPS or CASH through DSHS or able to provide evidence of income) or unemployed, and
  2. a US citizen, permanent resident, or refugee who has lived in Washington State for at least one year, and
  3. enrolled in ANY of the following:
  • Professional/Technical Programs (certificates/non-transfer degrees )
  • ESL (English as a Second Language)
  • High School 21+ or GED Preparation (Adult Basic Education)

Find out if you pre-qualify for funding and RSVP for a funding session at www.startnextquarter.org. You can also come to the Workforce Education office (5101) to sign up.

Celebrate the end of Winter quarter with Funk & Groove! Funk & Groove will take you back in time and celebrate hit songs from a variety of genres.

No cover charge. $5 donation requested to support the band.
