On Mon., May 16, Shoreline Community College is hosting the 16th annual Northwest Association for Bio-medical research (NWBAR) Expo. The mission of the Student Bio Expo is to promote an understanding of bioscience research among high school students. The NWBAR encourages students to demonstrate their knowledge of the disciplines of biotechnology and biomedicine in creative ways. We are expecting 350-400 high school and middle school students from 23 regional schools to come to our campus.
Buses will start arriving with students outside the #1000 building at 7:45 a.m., and the students will be on campus until 2 p.m. The cafeteria will be open while the displays are up in the main dining room. Eating tables will be scattered throughout the building for this one day event.
Please welcome these future scientists to our campus!
