I hope that you all had a great weekend. I am writing to remind you that Representative Shelley Kloba is visiting campus this afternoon- Monday August 7, 2023, from 12:00-2:00.
We plan to give Representative Kloba a brief tour of campus sharing stories of the wonderful work we do here, followed by an opportunity to meet in person with members of the campus community at the Quiet Dining Room in the PUB at 1:00. Community members will have a chance to ask questions and engage in thoughtful dialogue allowing her to learn more about our needs as a College and giving us a chance to explore ways we can support her in her role.
Representative Kloba was elected to her first term in the State House of Representatives in 2016, where she now serves as, Chair of the Commerce & Gaming Committee as well as on the Rural Development, Agriculture & Natural Resources and Capital Budget committees.
