If you have already registered for the final classes for your degree, be sure to apply for graduation now.
Summer Quarter grades will be posted on August 28th. Be sure to check your grades before the start of next quarter. You should check your grades in ctcLink (not Canvas) under Academics (via Grades or View Unofficial Transcript).
To connect with Advising, please schedule an appointment or do drop-in via Starfish.
Veteran & Military-Connected Students should contact Rosemary Whiteside for academic advising. Appointments can be scheduled via Starfish or by emailing Rosemary at rwhiteside@shoreline.edu.
Dropping a class now will result in a “W” showing on your transcript for withdrawal, but it will not count in computing your GPA. If you choose to drop a class, you will be charged a $15 add/drop fee.
The last day to drop a class this quarter with a “W” is August 1, 2024. After this date, no “W” will be given.
Are You Receiving Financial Aid? Please check with the Financial Aid office before dropping any classes as your aid may be impacted.
Email your instructor and ask for permission to drop.
Email the name & number of the course you’d like to drop, along with your instructor’s permission, to Enrollment Services at EnrollmentServices@Shoreline.edu and we will process the drop for you.
Need help planning your courses? Contact the Advising Center to make an appointment with an academic advisor.
The Enrollment Services team would like to invite all students to stop by FOSS (the 5000 building) to have your photo taken and get your Shoreline ID card printed.
Getting your ID typically takes just a few minutes (depending on how busy we are) and then you’ll be all set if you are ever asked for verification that you are a student. It’s best to get this complete within your first month at Shoreline.
This also provides you identification for student discounts from some local businesses.
This summer, ID cards are available Monday – Wednesday from 9 – 11 or 2 – 4.
Click the “Start Application” button to begin filling out your application.
Click the “Submit Application” button in the lower right corner (Note: The “Submit Application” button is disabled until the application is complete).
You will be directed back to your Dashboard where you will see the number of scholarships to which you have been automatically applied.
You may be eligible for additional scholarships that require additional information. The Dashboard will prompt you to provide this by showing a number in the “Items requiring completion” box.
After completing all follow-up items for the scholarship, click the “Resubmit Application” button to submit your application (Note: If there are no follow-up items that need to be completed, you do not need to resubmit your application).
Note: An application for Shoreline Community College Foundation scholarships does not take the place of the Financial Aid application. All students, excluding international students, are encouraged to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or the WASFA (for HB 1079 students) application for the current year, in addition to the scholarship application. For information about financial aid, visit our Financial Aid webpage, or email financialaid@shoreline.edu.
*There is parking nearby the Cedar Building and there will be signage directing you to the groundbreaking location the day of the event.
Our new Bracken Building will be a state-of-the-art facility, housing our nursing, math, and music programs. This is an exciting milestone for our college community, and we would be honored to have you join us in celebrating this special event.
